Gold and Silver
           

These groups are our Junior Olympic competitive athletes.  These divers are working to compete at the Regional and National Meet for USD, and the AAU National meet.  The divers in the gold group dive 4 - 6 days a week.  Practices last 2 to 2 1/2 hours a day, and begin in the dryland training facility with flexability, coordination and strengthing training as well as trampoline and dry board spotting practice.

 

Bronze
           

The athletes in this group will eventually move into the Silver or Gold group.  The athletes in this group are working to learn their USD and AAU requirements to compete in meets, an will compete in USD and AAU Novice and JO meets.  Bronze divers dive 3 days a week for two and a half hours a day. Practices last 2 to 2 1/2 hours a day, and begin in the dryland training facility with flexability, coordination and strengthing training as well as trampoline and dry board spotting practice.

 

Olympic Garden
           

Divers new to the team who are serious about eventually competing in National diving competitions both AAU and USD will go directly into this group.  These athletes are between the age of 7 and 11 and will take part in dry-land spotting and water workouts.  This group’s workouts are more rigorous than the lessons program workouts and are geared to learning the basic skills, body motions, flexibility and strength to become future stars in the sport of diving.  These athletes will compete in AAU and USD Novice and JO meets.  Olympic Garden divers dive 3 times a week for one hour a day.
