Intersquad competition Saturday 9:30 in dryland

October 8th, 2008

We will be having a training on meet procedures and how to fill out a dive sheet beginning at 9:30 am in the dryland room.  We will start with going over the requirements for each age group and together fill out a dive sheet for each participant.  When everyone has a sheet filled out, The parents will learn how to run a 1 meter competition including the juos required for running a scoring table.  This is a free event to all THDC members (Lessons, Olympic Garden, Bronze, Silver and Gold).  I expect the more experienced divers to help the less experienced divers during this event.  Awards will be given to all participants.

Below are the requirements for Novice and JO competitions.  As a rule of Thumb, if you have never participated in a meet, you are probably going to dive novice, and if you have participated in more than 3 meets, you will probably dive JO.
